The MEC, Who Are We?
When it comes to environmental issues the M.E.C. is the "Action Center" for our county. Virtually all the environmental groups - ocean protection, toxic and pesticide groups, peace groups, recycling, air quality, forestry groups ect. - work with and rely on the M.E.C. for information sharing, networking and coordination of efforts. A growing number of teachers, students, and concerned individuals come to M.E.C. to utilize our extensive library of information.
