MEC Elections and Annual Meeting

Call For Nominations

Now is the time to submit your name if you would like to run for a position on the MEC Board of Directors. All MEC members are eligible to run for a seat on the Board. Board members serve a two year term, with the main duty of Directors being that they attend the monthly Board meetings. The three seats coming open for this election are presently filled by Vera Zimmer, Dale Glaser and Margene McGee. The terms of office for the other four seats on the Board will expire in the Fall of 1992.

If you want to be a candidate for one of the three seats available in this year's election, you must inform the MEC of your intentions by 7:00 PM on October 14th. Ballots for the election will be mailed to voting members on October 19th along with the candidates' statements about who they are and why they want to be elected. Ballots must be returned to the MEC for counting by 7:00 PM on October 30th.

MEC Members Annual Meeting

The MEC Members Annual Meeting will be held at the MEC starting at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30th. Votes will be counted at this meeting and the newly elected MEC Board members will be announced. Refreshments will be served and there will be ample time for conversation and merry making. Everyone is invited.
