Elected were: Susan Billy, Dale Glaser, Joseph Leon and Anna Marie Stenberg. It is also worthy of note that past Board member, Margene Mc Gee, received a number of write-in votes. Three of the four newly elected Board members will serve two year terms. The fourth will serve out the remaining year of the seat left vacant by the resignation of Joy La Claire.
The end of 1992 will again find four seats open for election on the MEC Board of Directors. Any MEC member may run for a seat on the Board. The MEC Board of Directors is responsible for the business administration of the MEC and required to attend the monthly Board meetings. However, Board members who are also able to participate in the issue-specific work of the MEC are especially encouraged to run.
