Benefit Dance/Concerts

For International Indian Treaty Council and Native Support Network

Joanne Rand with the Little Big Band and Clan Dyken will perform for two benefit dance/concerts in Mendocino County to raise support for Native American cultural survival projects. The events, billed as the North coast's musical event of the year, will also feature the Round Valley Traditional Dancers, the Coyote Valley Kawia Dancers, and speakers Yvonne Swann, Priscilla Hunter and Patrick Linclon. Native American crafts will be on display and available for purchase during the concerts.

The dance/concerts are: Friday, December 3rd at Cotton Auditorium in Ft. Bragg at 7:00 PM; and Saturday, December 4th at the Mendocino College Gym in Ukiah at 7:00 PM.

Tickets for each event are $10, $5 for teenagers and free for children under 12. Advance tickets are available at: Tangents (Ft. Bragg), The Book Loft (Mendocino), Bookends (Pt. Arena), Boont Berry Farms (Boonville), Mendocino Environmental Center (Ukiah), Willits Environmental Center (Willits), Leaves of Grass (Willits), Nobody's Business (Laytonville), Last Record Store (Santa Rosa), and Singing Salmon Music (Garberville).
