MEC Election Results

Ballots for the MEC Board of Directors Election were counted at the Annual Membership Meeting in December. With three people running for three open seats, there were no surprises. The newly elected MEC Board members are incumbents Dale Glaser and Joseph Leon and first-time Board member Linda Perkins. Congratulations to the winners and best wishes during your two-year term ahead. The Board wishes to extend a special vote of thanks to retiring Board member Susan Billy. Susan weathered her entire two-year term and managed to keep a level head throughout. Perhaps more importantly, she completed this rather rocky and thankless task without losing her ability to smile. Thank you for your service, Susan. It was a pleasure working with you.
The MEC Board meets on an irregular, but more or less monthly, basis. Meetings are open to the public. You can call the MEC if you wish to know the time and place of the next MEC Board meeting.
