Haiku for Ukiah

Tall redwood trees bend
High above the sky, great green
Poking pines great trees

Deer and moose hang ten
Elk and snake hunting for food
Vultures catching fish

Skinny short red birds
Rushing rivers are flowing
Into large oceans

Large big lakes, tall trees
Vineyards growing high and thick
Snakes are eating well.

Lizards in the sun.
Black bears eating fish
Deer running in a big herd
And snakes in the shade

Huge green flowered hills
Red tailed hawks fly everywhere

Why California's Redwoods Are Important To Me

I think that California redwoods are important to me because they give fresh air. and because they give beautiful scenery. and plus, if there were no trees there would be no clean fresh water. When I walk in the Redwoods I feel the presence of Fairies.
