Participate in the big Headwaters Rally on September 14. Talk it up with friends and carpool up to Humboldt County (location to be announced later this summer).
Form an Affinity Group with others in your town to do nonviolent civil disobedience at the rally and/or out of Base Camp. Local activists will help with organizing and conduct a nonviolence prep session.
Get involved in other Headwaters projects. Read through the "What's Happening Now"section at the end of the Headwaters article on this page and contact groups whose programs appeal to you. We also have information at the MEC.
Donate money, food and supplies. The rally is a big production, and last year it cost over $1,000 per week to maintain Base Camp, mostly for campground fees. (Let us know about any land in Humboldt County for loan, lease or sale).
Volunteer at the MEC. We always need help answering phones, etc., but it will get really crazy here as September 14 approaches!
