The day will kick off at 8am with a 5/10 K watershed fun run or walk on the N. Big River Haul Road. Activities at the Recreation and Community Center start at 10am and continue until 6pm. There will be environmental information booths presented by local organizations and agencies, an interactive children's section with games and eco-crafts, local bands, organic garden tours and workshops, a farmer's market, and many watershed-based presentations. Schedule of events:
8am - 10am. 5/10 K Watershed Fun Run or Walk.
Noon - 2pm. Forum "Working towards Watershed Sustainability" with resource professionals, restorationists, landowners, and members of nonprofit organizations.
1:00pm. Bird Walk led by Audubon Society Member along the Headlands.
2:10 - 3:10pm. Erica Fielder, local artist, will speak on how artists in the environmental art movement address watershed issues.
3:15 - 4:15pm. Donna d’ Terra, herbalist, will give talk on "Wild Plants for Mind, Body, and spirit."

All Day - Local Bands!
The festival is being organized by the AmeriCorps Watershed Stewards Project in cooperation with many other groups, including the CA Department of Fish and Game, the AmeriCorps Watershed Project, and the Mendocino Coast Environmental Center.
