Announcing: Northern California's

ACTIVE-FEST 2000 A Festival of Interdependence, Consciousness and Activism

July 14, 15, and 16 (Bastille Day weekend)

The Mendocino County Fairgrounds in Boonville

We invite activist groups and individuals from Mendocino, Lake, Humboldt, Sonoma and the Bay Area to share their concerns and the focus of their passion in a forum which respects diverse views and freedom of expression. We will open our minds and hearts toward a vision of harmonious, sustainable, spiritual evolution. We look beyond the patriarchal paradigm to a world which honors Mother Earth, and gender, race and class equality.

We will gather in the beautiful Anderson Valley, at the Boonville Fairgrounds. Mendocino County has a long history of involvement in progressive issues ranging from anti-nuclear and anti-war, to challenging local corporate land use policies. We look forward to joining with activists from within the county and beyond, to share the lessons of our struggles and victories. By networking and joining together, we will challenge the status quo.
