Is this work that you agree with? If so, now's the time to join your neighbors in protecting the environment in Mendocino County and beyond! Call or just drop by the Mendocino Environmental Center to volunteer to work for the environment, peace and justice. As a member you will receive quarterly MEC Newsletters, occasional Action Alerts, and be eligible to vote and run for the Board of Directors. Membership rates are sliding scale. Most people join at $52 a year (a buck a week). Many give $100 or more, and others give less. Some donate monthly which is now easy to do with your credit card. To become a member or make a tax deductible donation please call the MEC at 468-1660. All are welcome at the MEC office and info shop at 106 West Standley Street, Ukiah. Stop by to borrow a book, ask a question, become a member or get to work.
